and petrochemical sectors, according to preliminary data from the National Centre for Statistics and Information. This rise occurred despite a slight decrease in overall gasoline output compared to September 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Production of regular 91-octane gasoline grew by 16.8 percent year-on-year to reach 14.25 million barrels, with sales showing a modest increase of 1.4 percent. However, exports of this fuel declined by 15.8 percent. Premium 95-octane gasoline demonstrated stronger gains, with production up by 21.1 percent and exports soaring by 117 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Diesel output rose by 10.3 percent to 28.48 million barrels, supported by increased domestic sales and a 10 percent rise in exports. Conversely, jet fuel production fell by 7.4 percent, accompanied by year-on-year decreases in both sales and exports.<\/p>\n<p>Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was among the best-performing products, with production growing 14 percent and exports climbing nearly 63 percent. In the petrochemical sector, benzene and paraxylene production experienced moderate growth, while polypropylene output nearly doubled.
