dedication and creativity of its participants in supporting Omani youth. Initiated by the Oman Youth Centre, this program aligns with a broader initiative to position youth as vital contributors to innovation and the development of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) sector, in accordance with Oman Vision 2040.<\/p>\n<p>Alia bint Saeed Al Shanfari, Chief Executive Officer of the Oman Youth Centre, stated, \u201cThis program is one of our strategies aimed at empowering and enhancing the skills of the younger generation across various sectors.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>She further noted that the objective of the program is to help participants transform their competencies into productive projects. More than 265 young individuals took part in this initiative, with 50 participants reaching the final round and collectively generating over <strong>RO 32,000<\/strong> in revenue.<\/p>\n<p>Implemented in collaboration with over five SMEs and eight medium enterprise owners, freelancers, and productive families, the program underscores the Youth Centre&#8217;s commitment to driving significant social and economic impact.<\/p>\n<p>Khamis bin Naser Al Shuaibi, Director General of Shared Services at Oman Oil Marketing Company, emphasized the role of innovation in development. \u201cInnovation is not a cost but an essential tool for creating opportunities, adding value, and enhancing national competitiveness,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n<p>Al Shuaibi described Tamakkun as \u201ca real-world example\u201d that bridges the gap between innovation and the marketplace, talent and sustainability, as well as ambition and access to necessary tools. The program equips participants with skills in innovative thinking, project management, and business development, enabling them to nurture their projects into scalable business models.<\/p>\n<p>The success stories of participants illustrate the programme\u2019s impact.
