To date, Future Fund Oman has successfully mobilized approximately <strong>$2.1 billion<\/strong> in private and foreign capital, collaborating on eight major projects with international investors, banks, funds, and family offices.<\/p>\n<p>The growing leverage ratio highlights enhanced international confidence in Oman\u2019s aspirations within industrial, manufacturing, and clean energy sectors. Job creation remains a crucial performance metric; projects endorsed since the fund\u2019s inception have produced over <strong>1,400 jobs<\/strong>, with many more under development. Investments are aligned with five national priority areas: energy transition, advanced materials, healthcare, logistics, and information and communications technology, further solidifying the fund&#8217;s influence on the nation&#8217;s economic trajectory.<\/p>\n<p>Key projects include a <strong>$1.6 billion<\/strong> solar-grade polysilicon manufacturing facility developed by United Solar, which is slated for completion in <strong>2026<\/strong>. This initiative has already generated more than <strong>1,000 jobs<\/strong> and contributed over <strong>$317 million<\/strong> in local value, attracting interest from international development finance institutions. Another significant project is JA Solar\u2019s six-gigawatt solar cell manufacturing complex located in SOHAR Port and Freezone, a <strong>$442 million<\/strong> investment currently achieving critical construction milestones.
