Several internal roads have already been paved, with further road projects currently in the tendering process. These upgrades aim to enhance traffic safety, accessibility, and connectivity to residential and tourist areas.<\/p>\n<p>Among the completed community projects are Green Mountain Park, a public recreational space designed to improve livability, and the Festivals and Celebrations Square, which offers a dedicated venue for seasonal events. The square also supports entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through integrated service facilities that stimulate local economic activity.<\/p>\n<p>Private sector investment is gathering momentum, with major developments underway, including an integrated commercial complex in Hail Al Yaman. This complex will feature a three-star hotel, an educational park, an entertainment centre, and a shopping mall, thereby broadening the range of services accessible to visitors.<\/p>\n<p>Additional projects encompass a 3D-themed open-air plaza in Saih Qatna, Da\u2019an Al-Busaiteen Park, and the development of Saih Qatna Park, which will incorporate recreational areas, a restaurant, and a mountain viewpoint designed to showcase the region\u2019s unique landscape.<\/p>\n<p>On a larger scale, Shaikh Al Ghufaili highlighted the ambitious High Mountain Tourist City project. Estimated at RO 1.2 billion, this development spans over 11.8 square kilometers at nearly 2,400 meters above sea level. It will feature more than 2,500 residential units accommodating some 10,000 residents, a hotel complex with over 2,000 rooms, the region\u2019s highest golf course covering approximately 1.5 million square meters, and more than ten cultural, architectural, and tourism landmarks.<\/p>\n<p>Built upon sustainability and green economy principles, the High Mountain Tourist City will employ renewable energy and smart, low-emission transport solutions. It also plans to introduce a cable car system linking Al Dakhiliyah and Al Batinah South Governorates, improving accessibility to the area.<\/p>\n<p>Shaikh Al Ghufaili affirmed that all projects are being executed with full respect for the mountain environment. The overarching goal is to diversify income sources, generate sustainable employment, and cement Al Jabal Al Akhdhar\u2019s status as a leading tourism and development hub in the Sultanate of
