The ongoing war in Ukraine further complicated energy markets, particularly when Ukrainian drones targeted Russian infrastructure, impacting oil exports from Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n<p>Additional supply threats arose from the <strong>12-day<\/strong> Iran-Israel conflict in June, which disrupted shipping routes in the <strong>Strait of Hormuz<\/strong>, a critical channel for global oil transport, driving prices upwards.<\/p>\n<p>OPEC+, comprising the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allied producers, has decided to pause output increases for the first quarter of 2026 after injecting approximately <strong>2.9 million barrels per day into the market<\/strong> since April. The next OPEC+ meeting is scheduled for <strong>January 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Most analysts anticipate that supply will outpace demand in the coming year, with estimates varying from the International Energy Agency&#8217;s forecast of <strong>3.84 million barrels per day<\/strong> to <strong>2 million bpd<\/strong> according to Goldman Sachs. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf prices experience a significant decline, it is likely that OPEC+ will implement cuts,\u201d expressed <strong>Martijn Rats<\/strong>, global oil strategist at Morgan Stanley. <\/p>\n<p><strong>John Driscoll<\/strong>, managing
