Khalili, Chairman of the State Council. The event took place at the military parade ground of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in Nizwa.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony marked the graduation of several cohorts, including the 58th batch of specialized officer cadets, the 57th batch of university officer cadets, and the 12th batch of service-system officer cadets. Graduates also completed a skills qualification and development course. Among the graduates were officers from the Internal Security Service, Royal Court Affairs, and the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority.<\/p>\n<p>The graduates hailed from various disciplines, such as aviation engineering, maritime navigation, geophysics, logistics, geographic information systems, biotechnology, supply chain management, fire engineering, chemical engineering, cybersecurity, criminology, criminal justice, and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Diploma in command and control.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony commenced with a military salute to the chief guest, followed by a parade inspection. Graduates showcased a military march past the main dais, after which awards were presented to top-performing graduates.<\/p>\n<p>The event included a significant transition of the banner of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences from the 57th batch of university officer cadets to the 48th batch of bachelor\u2019s system officer cadets.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the graduates sang the ROP anthem &#8216;Humaat Al Haqq&#8217;, took an oath of allegiance, and chanted &#8216;Long Live&#8217; thrice for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, before offering a final salute to the chief guest, marking the end of the parade.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration also featured a mounted parade by the ROP Cavalry and musical performances by the Royal Oman Police Band. During the event, the winners of the Royal Oman Police Awards for 2025 were announced. The Al Sharqiyah North Governorate Police Command earned first place in the Traffic Safety Competition, the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences won first place in the ROP Infantry Competition, and the Muscat Governorate Police Command secured first in the Criminal Investigation Competition.<\/p>\n<p>In the ROP Security Research Competition themed &#8216;Security and Sustainable Development under Oman Vision 2040&#8217;, first place went to Dr. Moza bint Abdullah al Maqbaliyah and Dr. Yusra bint Mohammed al Mughairiyah for their research proposing a framework to enhance the ROP&#8217;s contribution to sustainable development.
