69.113 billion barrels during the same period in 2024, according to data from the refineries and petroleum industries sector.<\/p>\n<p>Production of 91-octane gasoline rose by 17.5% to 15.64 billion barrels, while 95-octane gasoline output climbed by 21.1% to 13.182 billion barrels. Gas oil (diesel) production also saw an increase of 11.7%, reaching 31.639 billion barrels.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely, jet fuel production declined by 9%, dropping to 9.5 billion barrels. Meanwhile, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) output grew by 14.5% to 7.033 billion barrels.<\/p>\n<p>In the petrochemicals sector, polypropylene production surged by 81.6% to 327,000 tonnes, and paraxylene output increased by 10.8% to 535,000 tonnes. Gasoline production experienced a slight rise of 0.9%.<\/p>\n<p>Domestic sales showed a 7.1% increase in gas oil sales to 13.875 billion barrels. Sales of 95-octane gasoline and 91-octane gasoline also grew by 2.1% and 1% respectively. However, jet fuel sales decreased by 3.5% over the period.<\/p>\n<p>On the exports front, 95-octane gasoline exports surged by 166.4% to 1.526 billion barrels, while LPG exports rose by 127.9%.
