This group marks the first national cohort to undergo intensive, specialized industrial training in wind turbine manufacturing. The training aims to prepare them for employment at the Mawarid Turbine factory currently being established in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm.<\/p>\n<p>The signing ceremony took place under the patronage of Dr. Mansour bin Talib al Hinai, Chairman of the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR). He highlighted the importance of the agreement as a strategic initiative developed in coordination with multiple entities through the Employment Governance Committee in the Public Services Sector.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed by Mustafa bin Mohammed al Hinai, CEO of Mawarid Turbine, and Dr. Ali bin Saud al Bimani, Vice-Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology. This specialized training program, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and APSR, is the first of its kind in wind turbine manufacturing in Oman.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Abeer bint Ali al Kalbani, Director of National Competency Development and Local Content at Mawarid Turbine, stated that the program will begin in February within a structured industrial framework reflecting the realities of production lines and manufacturing needs.
