Key sectors anticipated to drive the most tendering activity include construction, procurement, public services, information technology, electromechanical contracting, and consultancy services, ensuring widespread participation across the governorates of Oman.<\/p>\n<p>The Authority also provided a comprehensive overview of infrastructure projects, which encompass ports, roads, dams, public buildings, utilities, pipeline networks, and well-drilling activities. Detailed tender schedules and project readiness statuses were shared to facilitate early planning for companies. Notably, Muscat Governorate recorded the highest number of tenders under study at <strong>413<\/strong>, followed by Al Batinah South with <strong>129<\/strong> and Al Batinah North with <strong>101<\/strong>. For approved tenders, Muscat again led with <strong>314<\/strong>, succeeded by Al Sharqiyah South with <strong>111<\/strong> and Dhofar with <strong>69<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer Saeed bin Hamad al Amri, Director General of Tenders, revealed that contracts awarded by the Tender Board surpassed <strong>RO 1.7 billion<\/strong> in 2025, marking an accelerating trend in development spending.
