Many prefer rooms with sea views and often choose room-only packages, indicating a preference for quick seaside getaways rather than extended, bundled vacations.<\/p>\n<p>Roushan Resort, a beachfront boutique property in Mirbat, features around 22 sea-oriented bungalows set around two outdoor pools, offering direct beach access and proximity to coral reefs. Under new management since its renovation in 2025, the resort provides a variety of accommodations including sea-view bungalows and hostel-style rooms, along with amenities such as a restaurant and a dive center.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past six months, international arrivals have gained momentum, with increasing interest from countries like Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, and India. Foreign guests typically stay longer\u2014ranging from three to 14 nights\u2014and often extend their visits if they enjoy their experience.<\/p>\n<p>Emteir mentioned that international visitors focus more on value than price alone. They consider factors such as hotel ratings on online travel platforms, cleanliness, facilities, and location. Seaside hotels and properties with direct beach access continue to enjoy high demand, especially during the winter season when Oman\u2019s climate appeals to European tourists. Weekday occupancy typically ranges from 50 to 70 percent, influenced by seasonal factors and overall market conditions.
