Monday\u2019s attack adds to ongoing disruptions in the UAE\u2019s energy sector. Since the outbreak of the conflict, the country\u2019s daily oil output has dropped by more than half. This reduction is largely due to the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which has forced the state-owned energy company ADNOC to implement widespread production shut-ins, according to two sources cited by Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, oil loading operations at the UAE&#8217;s Fujairah port, a crucial export terminal, were suspended twice in recent days following separate drone attacks.
