مسقط: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has reported the arrest of 37 foreign nationals in Muscat Governorate for breaching the Sultanate’s labor and residency regulations.
This enforcement operation was carried out by the Muscat Governorate Police Command in close coordination with the Al-Seeb Special Police Task Unit.
According to an official statement, the group of those detained includes 30 women and seven men, hailing from various Asian and African countries.
The ROP confirmed that these individuals were taken into custody for failing to adhere to the Labor Law and the Law on the Residency of Foreigners. Legal proceedings are currently underway against all those involved.
