National Competitive Committee Reviews Efforts to Strengthen Oman’s Business Rankings: What This Means for Investors and Entrepreneurs
MUSCAT: The National Competitiveness Committee (NCC) convened for its second meeting of the year to review recent developments in the Environmental Performance Index (EPI) and to appoint the authority responsible for overseeing the Water and Wastewater Quality Index (WQI).
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, and attended by various government officials and private sector representatives.
In addition to the Environmental Performance Index, the committee discussed updates related to the Global Innovation Index.
The National Competitiveness Office continues to work closely with relevant authorities to monitor and improve Oman’s standing in international rankings, aiming to enhance the Sultanate’s global competitiveness. — ONA
