initial public offering (IPO) of Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMIFCO) after reviewing the results of investor subscriptions.<\/p>\n<p>The results reveal that total subscription proceeds significantly surpassed the value of the offering, with individual investors\u2019 subscriptions exceeding the offer by <strong>3.909 times<\/strong> and institutional investors surpassing it by <strong>27.4 times<\/strong>. Overall, total subscription demand reached <strong>RO 4.69 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In establishing the allocation mechanism, the FSA considered various options, adhering to the methodology outlined in the prospectus. The adopted allocation policy aims to accommodate all categories of subscribers fairly, maximize holdings among the largest number of shareholders, and encourage broad participation in public offerings.<\/p>\n<p>For small retail investors (Category II), the FSA approved an allocation of a minimum of <strong>6,500 shares<\/strong> per investor, along with approximately <strong>5.618%<\/strong> of the remaining shares. Subscription requests from this category totaled <strong>737,943,400 shares<\/strong>, amounting to nearly <strong>RO 115.12 million<\/strong>, representing an oversubscription rate of about <strong>2.206 times<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Large individual investors (Category II) received an allocation of approximately <strong>17.818%<\/strong> on a pro rata basis for each subscriber. This group submitted requests for <strong>1,877,108,000 shares<\/strong>, with total subscriptions reaching around <strong>RO 292.83 million<\/strong>, reflecting an oversubscription rate of approximately <strong>5.612 times<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For local institutional investors (Category I), the approved allocation was set at <strong>2.6806%<\/strong> on a pro rata basis. Foreign institutional investors (Category I) were allocated shares in line with the prospectus methodology, following the established offer price of <strong>156 baisa<\/strong> per share for both categories.
