This initiative, organized by the Holland Hydrogen Hub (H3), aims to expedite the establishment of a dedicated green hydrogen corridor connecting Oman with Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The meetings brought together key stakeholders, including government officials, infrastructure operators, technology developers, researchers, logistics providers, and prospective hydrogen off-takers. The initiatives include the launch of the NoorBridge program, aimed at developing a clean energy corridor between Oman and Europe, and studying the creation of a dedicated hydrogen export corridor to Dutch ports. Discussions were also held on integrating Omani hydrogen into the Netherlands&#8217; emerging hydrogen backbone and engaging with European off-takers and logistics providers for long-term exports of green ammonia and liquid hydrogen.<\/p>\n<p>The program commenced with a networking session and a harbor tour at North Sea Port, a leading industrial port in Europe and a prospective entry point for renewable hydrogen and green ammonia imports. Participants represented a wide array of entities within the hydrogen value chain, such as LBC Tank Terminals, Vesta Terminals, Evos, Yara Clean Ammonia, Hynetwork Services, Gasunie, and various potential European off-takers.<\/p>\n<p>Conversations during the visit highlighted the essential infrastructure needed to establish a commercial hydrogen corridor, which includes storage terminals, port facilities, pipelines, logistics networks, and distribution systems capable of managing large-scale imports of green molecules from Oman.<\/p>\n<p>A broader group of partners associated with the Holland Hydrogen Hub also attended, including SoluForce, Voyex, Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology, Desolenator, Duiker Clean Technologies, Avans University of Applied Sciences, Port of Rotterdam, Vopak, Advario, and TNO. Collectively, these organizations represent the extensive Dutch hydrogen ecosystem encompassing pipeline technologies, hydrogen mobility, fuel cells, sustainable desalination, industrial decarbonization, applied research, and Europe&#8217;s largest energy port.
