AL MUSANNAH: In its ongoing effort to equip Omani youth with vital skills for the workforce, the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Al Musannah has recently wrapped up a series of training workshops. These sessions focused on CV writing, personal interview techniques, and IQ test preparation. Conducted by Eng. Ismail Al Shukaili, a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), the workshops took place over six days in November and December 2024, benefiting more than 180 students, graduates, and trainees.
Participants gained practical insights into creating effective, professional CVs that highlight their skills and experiences. Additionally, they received valuable strategies to excel in personal interviews, boosting their confidence and enhancing their appeal to prospective employers.
Attendees praised the interactive nature of the workshops and the personalized guidance provided by Eng. Al Shukaili. Many noted that the direct engagement and hands-on practice made the sessions particularly impactful.
