Muscat: In a bid to streamline the labour market and bolster support for Omani entrepreneurs during the Khareef Dhofar 2025 season, the Ministry of Labour has introduced a new service that facilitates the temporary transfer of workers between private sector establishments in the Governorate of Dhofar.
This initiative, launched by the Directorate-General of Labour in Dhofar, permits employers to temporarily transfer workers—referred to as “Nadb”—during the peak tourism season.
The service aims to address the growing demand for labour during the Khareef period while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and promoting fair employment practices.
The Ministry has stated that the transfer process will adhere to specific terms and conditions, which are detailed in an approved application form provided by the directorate.
