The 2% rise in visitors to the Khareef Dhofar season, driven primarily by a 71.5% surge in Omani tourists, highlights a growing domestic market and increased regional appeal. For businesses, this signals opportunities in tourism services, hospitality, and retail sectors, especially catering to Omani and GCC customers. Smart investors should consider expanding infrastructure and experiential offerings to capture this upward trend while monitoring the slight decline in land border arrivals to adapt transport and access strategies accordingly.
