Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has officially launched the National Framework for Job Competencies alongside the Human Resources Management Matrix. The initiative, inaugurated under the patronage of Dr. Mahad bin Said Baowain, Minister of Labour, aims to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees within the country’s administrative framework.
This effort is designed to equip government employees with essential skills to improve performance efficiency across various government units. The project brings together 44 teams from different government entities and features the expertise of over 300 specialists from a wide range of job categories.
Significantly, the framework includes more than 2,000 job titles, highlighting its comprehensive approach to human resource development.
