Oman’s 5% rise in electricity production signals growing energy demand and economic activity, presenting opportunities for investments in power infrastructure and renewable energy projects. However, the 1.9% decline in water production—especially the sharp drop in Muscat—highlights potential risks in water resource management, urging businesses and entrepreneurs to explore innovative water conservation and desalination solutions. Smart investors should consider the synergy between energy and water sectors to capitalize on emerging sustainability needs.
