MUSCAT: Lulu Group has expanded its retail presence in Oman with the opening of a new hypermarket at Al Qurum Complex, Muscat. This marks the group’s 33rd store in the Sultanate and highlights its ongoing growth and expansion strategy in the country.
The store was officially inaugurated by Ghalib bin Said al Maamari, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry. The ceremony was attended by Yusuff Ali M A, Chairman of Lulu Group, along with senior government officials and other dignitaries.
Covering an area of over 33,000 square feet, the new hypermarket offers a modern and convenient shopping environment. It boasts a diverse range of products across essential categories, including fresh produce, groceries, frozen and dairy goods, and household items.
Customers will find a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, many sourced from local farms, alongside dedicated butchery and fishery sections providing quality meat and sustainably sourced seafood. The store is equipped with self-checkout counters to facilitate smooth shopping, complemented by ample parking facilities.

As our 33rd store in Oman, it reflects Lulu Group’s continued commitment to the Sultanate’s progress. He also expressed his deep appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and the leadership of Oman for their steadfast support, visionary guidance, and the establishment of an investor-friendly environment.
