Muscat: Asyad Group has acquired Ligentia, a leading global logistics company, to accelerate its expansion in key international markets and double its capacity to deliver integrated and multimodal logistics solutions across the entire value chain.
This acquisition strengthens Asyad Group’s diversified asset portfolio and expanding global network, which currently spans 24 countries and 76 cities worldwide.
The deal includes the state-of-the-art control and monitoring platform “Legintex,” offering customers real-time visibility, tracking, and integration with resource planning and predictive analytics. This platform supports Asyad’s strategy to implement advanced technologies, enhancing service efficiency and customer trust.
This marks Asyad Group’s second international acquisition in under two years, following its purchase of Skybridge Shipping Solutions in July 2024. The move signals a significant acceleration in its growth strategy targeting major economies and global trade hubs.
Since 2016, the group has successfully increased its revenues from RO 123 million (US$ 320 million) to an estimated RO 800 million (US$ 2.1 billion) in 2026, demonstrating its ability to sustain growth, capitalize on investment opportunities, and drive innovation while maintaining operational efficiency.
