BAKU: The National Financial Information Centre (NFIC) of the Sultanate of Oman has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding with the Anti-Money Laundering Office of the Kingdom of Thailand to enhance cooperation in combating financial crimes.
The agreement was signed by Colonel Juma bin Matar al Dhahli, Chief Executive Officer of the NFIC, during the Egmont Group meeting held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
This MoU is part of a series of agreements Oman signed with allied countries at the event, which took place from July 5 to 10, aimed at strengthening collaborative efforts to address money laundering, terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons through improved information sharing and joint action. — ONA
