The surge of Emirati visitors topping inbound tourism highlights Oman’s growing appeal as a key regional destination, presenting significant opportunities for hospitality and retail sectors to tailor services for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) travelers. With hotel occupancy robust and employment rising, investors should consider expanding premium and mid-tier hospitality offerings, especially in high-demand areas like Muscat and North al Sharqiyah. However, businesses must remain vigilant about regional geopolitical dynamics that could impact outbound travel patterns and visitor flows.
