Future Fund Oman’s RO 570 Million Projects: Key Opportunities for Investors and Entrepreneurs in Oman
مسقط: Future Fund Oman (FFO), the Oman Investment Authority’s RO 2 billion investment initiative, is set to unveil a new package of strategic investments and projects on Tuesday, June 9, with a total value exceeding RO 570 million.
This package will include seven projects and direct investments across several key sectors, such as renewable energy, industry, technology, healthcare, tourism, adventure tourism, and food security. These investments are part of the fund’s strategic projects portfolio, which accounts for 90% of its total capital allocation.
Additionally, the fund’s investment managers will present four investments dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups. This segment represents the remaining 10% of the fund’s capital and aims to bolster Oman’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting the growth of innovative and high-potential businesses.
The anticipated investments are expected to drive economic growth, stimulate private-sector activity, and attract further foreign capital to the Sultanate of Oman. This will reinforce the fund’s role as a catalyst for strategic investments across targeted sectors.
Since its establishment in early 2024, Future Fund Oman has expanded its investment footprint significantly. By the end of 2025, the fund had approved 186 projects valued at approximately ۱.۷ میلیارد روپیه, encompassing strategic investments, direct project financing, and initiatives for SMEs and start-ups.
The fund has contributed around RO 640 million to these projects and helped attract about RO 743 million in foreign investment. Since its launch, Future Fund Oman has received 986 investment applications, demonstrating robust interest from both local and international investors.
