OQ Gas Networks’ strong sustainability performance, especially its 52% emissions reduction surpassing 2030 targets, signals a major opportunity for businesses to align with Oman’s green energy transition and capitalize on emerging ESG demands. Smart investors and entrepreneurs should focus on innovations in energy efficiency, digital transformation, and local content development to leverage government-backed sustainability initiatives and bolster Oman’s national economy under Vision 2040. However, companies must also carefully manage operational and environmental risks to maintain compliance and competitive edge in this evolving landscape.
