MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) is set to organize an event titled ‘Sustainable Business Environment’ on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Recreation.
The event will take place under the patronage of HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, and will include the participation of Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, alongside dignitaries, investors, and officials from both the public and private sectors.
Key highlights of the event include the launch of the Golden Residency Programme for investors, which aims to provide a new pathway for investors and their families to settle in a secure and opportunity-rich environment. Mubarak bin Mohammed al Dohani, Director-General of Planning at MoCIIP and Head of the Digital Transformation Team, emphasized the ministry’s commitment to enhancing Oman’s position as a preferential global investment destination. He noted that these initiatives are designed to provide a stable and attractive business landscape that fosters opportunities for long-term growth. Furthermore, they aim to empower competitive Omani companies to enter regional and international markets while accelerating the digital transformation of business processes for improved efficiency and transparency.
