Crowne Plaza Muscat Qurum Reopens After Room Renovation

The Crowne Plaza Muscat, Qurum resumed operations on 1 September 2025 after its room renovation. Gulf Hotels (Oman) told the Muscat Stock Exchange that about 120 renovated rooms reopened, along with an all-day dining restaurant and other food and beverage outlets.

The company had told the exchange on 23 February 2025 that the hotel would close from June to August 2025 for room works.

Oman Observer said the remaining 80 rooms were expected to open by 30 September 2025. Times of Oman, which covered the reopening a day later, described a 200-room property with its guest rooms fully refurbished and did not mention rooms still under work. The two reports disagree on whether all rooms were ready from the start.
