Louvre Hotels Plans Two New Oman Projects in Muscat and Taqah

Louvre Hotels Group plans a mixed hotel and residence project at The Village Muscat and a beachfront resort on Oman's southern coast.

Louvre Hotels Group (LHG) plans two new hotel projects in Oman. At The Village Muscat, a mixed-use leisure destination, it will open Golden Tulip and Tulip Residences properties with 68 keys and 107 apartments. On Oman's southern coast, the Royal Tulip Taqah Beach Resort is planned with 100 keys, along with dining, recreation and entertainment facilities.

The group says the projects are slated by 2026. Neither the Oman Observer report nor the group's press release gives an opening date for each property.

LHG currently operates 43 hotels with more than 8,250 keys across the GCC, North Africa and beyond. It aims for more than 15,000 keys by 2030.

I could not confirm whether either Oman project has opened as of November 2026.
